Neil Gaiman on impostor syndrome.

It’s like the people who believe they’ll be happy if they go and live somewhere else, but who learn it doesn’t work that way. Wherever you go, you take yourself with you.

Neil Gaiman’s next book will be called The Ocean at the End of the Lane.

Not quite true. My next book FOR ADULTS will be called The Ocean at the End of the Lane.

My next book will be called CHU’S DAY and is a picture book about a baby panda who sneezes. And FORTUNATELY, THE MILK, a book for all ages, may be out soon after that. Not sure…

neil-gaiman:

Exactly ten years ago today CORALINE was published.

Happy Birthday, little scary book. I hope you inspire moments like this for ever and always.

So I thought I would put up a motivational poster, for you, Juan, and for anyone else who needs it. (Original photo by Holly Gaiman at the Hay Literary Festival.)

sometimes I love you
